This point overlaps with Xiangu (ST 43), which is in the depression distal to the junction of the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones.

Indications
Primary: 
  • Gastrointestinal disorders: gastritis, enteritis, appendicitis, colitis, abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, dysentery, rectal prolapse, peritonitis
  • Lower abdominal pain before or after menstruation
Secondary: 
  • Migraine, headaches
  • Inflammation of the uterus and ovaries
