Location

This point is on the Achilles tendon, 5.5 cun proximal to the bottom of the heel or 2 cun proximal to Zhengjin (T 77.01), which is midway between Kunlun (BL 60) and Taixi (KI 3) on the midline of the posterior aspect of the lower leg.

Indications
Primary: 

Neck and shoulder pain, difficulty turning the neck

Secondary: 
  • Low back pain, sprained back, sciatica
  • Bone swelling, hydrocephalus
  • Epilepsy

Techniques
  • Needle 0.5 - 1 cun.
