Location

3 cun lateral to the midline, level with the lower border of the spinous process of T3 and Feishu (BL 13), on the spinal border of the scapula.

Needle obliquely 0.3-0.5 cun. Perpendicular insertion is not advisable as it may cause pneumothorax.
