The Kidney channel originates under the small toe and runs across the sole of the foot to Yongquan (KI 1). It emerges from the lower aspect of the navicular tuberosity, circles behind the medial malleolus, and passes through the heel.
The Urinary Bladder channel originates from the inner canthus at Jingming (BL 1), ascends across the forehead towards Shenting (GV 24) and Toulinqi (GB 15), then goes upward to the vertex of the head towards Baihui
